Why is my iPad Pro (12.9inch) 4th Generation not compatible with Final Cut Pro

I am shocked that Apple has disabled Final Cut Pro for my 4th generation iPad Pro. What gives? I see other generations older than mine compatible. Please tell me this is being fixed.

According to

Apple brings Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro to iPad - Apple

Final Cut Pro for iPad requires and iPad with an M1 chip or later.

I believe the iPad Pro 4th Gen has an A12 bionic chip.

The hardware requirements for Final Cut Pro for iPad and Logic Pro for iPad are different and I believe Logic Pro for iPad runs on the A12.

I don’t know why it is the way it is, but your assumption that “older generations are compatible” is incorrect. I assume it’s because tge 3rd generation 11” iPad Pro is supported. But the 3rd generation 11” corresponds to the 5th generation 12.9”. They were released the same day and have the same processor. Remember that that there two generations of the 12.9” before the 11” was added to the product line.
