Swipe not working on iPad

My swipe on my iPad stops working periodically. I can do a system reset and it will start working again, but then it will stop work ng again in the future. Is there anything I can do to prevent it from ever happening?

If you don’t have a screen protector or a case that could be causing issues with swiping and if you have restored to factory settings (or reset the system in your words) and it comes back, you should take your iPad to an Apple Store or an AASP and have them evaluate the iPad.
