Perhaps to try & use a method that only requires you to remember some 28-character

long code; you then could simply write in down and keep that in a safe place. Until you

memorize the code; if you like. This is a random number, by the way.

This requires two factor authentication. And suggests, this helps generate a recovery key. Creating a recovery key, turns off account recovery. You need not share this; but could.

This is not possible, your recovery contact needs to have an iPhone or a mac

Your contacts will need an iOS device with iOS 15 or iPadOS 15 or later, or Mac with macOS Monterey or later, and must meet the minimum requirements. Your recovery contacts won't have any access to your account, only the ability to give you a code if you need one.
