Pixelated Screen

Hello all,

i was on my MacBook Air 2020 for a while before I decided to take a break. Upon going back to it and taking it out of sleep mode, the entire screen was pixelated. I can move the mouse and click things but the screen remains pixelated through use. It was not powering down at first, but after about ten minutes it powered down and upon logging in the pixels are gone. The pixels are coming and going, specifically when using the computer for an hour or more. I have attached a photo below. I have run the diagnostics test on the computer and it says there are no issues. I have also tested it in safe mode and this did not happen, although i only stayed in safe mode for about 15 minutes. I have never had any issues with my MacBook as it hasn’t been dropped or hit in anyway. It also hasn’t been exposed to any liquids or extreme temperatures. Any ideas as to what’s going on would be great. Since it is intermittent/ happening randomly I’m not sure if i should take it to the Genius Bar.
