iPhone 13 Pro Face ID not working

My iPhone 13 Pro Face ID not working. Initially when the problem happened I thought it was a software issue and reset my phone. But that did not work I had to restore to factory setting. Then it happened again a few months later and then again another few months later. It got to a point I had to reset my phone to factory settings ever month. resetting to factory setting and downloading all the apps takes a long time. Is anyone else having the same issue with their iPhone 13 Pro.

I don’t understand why my facial recognition stopped working on my 13 pro max, and why no one from Apple can help me fix it. if this is a known issue, it should be a recall and a class action suit if they don’t take care of it

My iPhone 13 pro max, face recognition isn’t working. I’ve done the update, and still not working. I went to an iPhone dealer and I was told that I’d have to pay a ridicules amount of money to have the front laser, and camera replaced. I asked if it was a software issue or hardware? He said it was a software issues. So I asked, what happens if it happened again? I’m being told I should upgrade my phone! Seems like Apple should be responsible for fixing this issue, free of charge! 😤

I have the same problem. I have never dropped the phone. No liquids. It’s just the curious way Apple use to get you to buy the new phone. We should suit them like they did in Europe. It was working perfectly fine until they just decided to kill it. I haven’t heard anyone on iPhone 14 complain about this issue. Love the devices but as a company they are terrible evil.

Apple has several documents helping you with Face ID which uses the TrueDepth camera.


This Support article is specific to seeing a 'disabled' Face ID alert, and explains what to do when you see that notice. --> If an alert says Face ID has been disabled on your iPhone or iPad Pro - Apple Support

Unless a software update solves the problem you may need to have Apple take a look at your device. Use this link to set up an appointment —> Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options - Apple


If you don't see a 'disabled' message but do have general issues with Face ID not working properly, explore the list of things to try in this document: If Face ID isn't working on your iPhone or iPad Pro - Apple Support

If the first 8 don't solve the issue then use #9, contact Apple.

If your Face ID is not working here are some things you can do

Retake or add another Face ID of your face going in

settings>face id and password>add a Face ID…


also if it’s not working make sure you are not wearing something hiding your face or eyes
