Hello, is it normal for my iPhone OS ‘System Data’ to require over 27 GB of data? This is for an iPhone XR

No. This is not normal.


How to Clear "System Data":

The storage named System Data (formerly called "Other"), basically contains unnecessary files such as caches that are used for system ease of use - all of which gather over time. Perform as I've instructed here: How to Clear "Other" in your iPhone's Storage - Use Backup - User Tip. Caches would be being used for remembrance of application use.
