Airpods 3rd generation warranty
I bought AirPods 3rd gen serial number J6***KJD, it is showing 6 months apple care, but on purchase day from Costco it was mentioned that it covers 1 year warranty

There are 2 different types of coverage you can get for your AirPods. One is the limited 1-year warranty that comes on the devices automatically for 1 year from the date of purchase.
AppleCare+ is additional coverage for them that helps pay for accidental repairs and can extend past your warranty.
