Why is a brand new Mac Studio so slow running final cut. This is a joke!

Constant beach ball and resetting. Absolutely a joke.

If the installed OS is older than 13.5, the CPU may be stuck in low power mode which could be the cause of the degraded performance.


If this is the case, rebooting will temporarily resolve the issue. This problem was addressed in the 13.5 update, so updating will resolve the issue permanently.

If you bought DIRECT from Apple (not through Reseller) you have 14 days from receipt to return it for a full-value refund.
