Travel Adapter Kit

The travel adapter kit is a nice package, but the downside is that you only really get 1 adapter that will work in a given country.

If you need 3-4 adapters because you have multiple devices like a laptop, iPhone, iPad, razor, hairdryer, etc. you may do better to simply buy some adapters. The adapter that you need looks like this:

Amazon has them for about $4 ea (US), or you can pay twice as much at an airport shop.

According to the article linked to above, the kit has a Japan and North America adapter. So, yes, you can use it in Canada.
