Family Sharing Notifications Going to Wrong Device

I have an iPad and iPhone using the same Apple ID with Family Sharing enabled. App requests from my children go to my iPad, but not my phone. I have updated all devices and restarted them. I have verified that my phone and iPad are using the same Apple ID. The Family Sharing and Purchase Sharing settings look identical on both of my devices. All other iMessages still go to both devices. Those “fixes” exhaust all threads I’ve been able to find. Please help.

Hey ejo74,

Have you checked the Messages app? Sometimes they’ll show up there. Approve what kids buy with Ask to Buy - Apple Support. Also, swipe down on your iPhone to review the notifications you’ve received.

Otherwise, try the steps in this article even though you’re receiving the requests on your iPad: If Ask to Buy isn't working - Apple Support

Please let us know the results when you're able.

All the best.

The requests are *only* going to Messages on my iPad; nothing is coming through "Notifications." I have already reviewed that article and nothing is working. My phone and iPad have the same Apple ID. Even when I tried logging in just now, the two-factor authentication *only* went to my iPad through Messages. Family Sharing is turned on and "Ask to Buy" is enabled on both my kids's phones. All are updated and have been restarted several times.
