How can I find my old iPhone’s location?

QUESTION 1. how can I find my old iPhone’s location if somebody got on it and turned off the location but I’m still logged in with my Apple ID? QUESTION 2. And they deleted most of my stuff. How would I go about getting my voice memos back if they were deleted off my iPhone that was stolen and they were the last thing I had of my mom before she died?

From Use the Find My app to locate a missing device or item - Apple Support

- "Don't see your device? You might not have Find My [device] turned on. If your device is powered off, the battery has run out, or more than 24 hours has passed since its last location was sent to Apple, you also can't see your device's location."

If the memo was deleted while the device was logged into your account, see Make a recording in Voice Memos on iPhone - Apple Support

You can recover a voice memo if it's still in the Recently Deleted folder

If you are logged into your account on another device then missing items hsould reappear if you sign into iCloud and activate its features.

Note that if somebody was able to delete items from your account then you have a compromised account and you need to pay attention to that immediately.

This iPhone must be powered-on and have either a cellular or wireless connection to the Internet in order for it to appear in the Find My service. Until it does, only its last known location would appear for up to 24 hours.

QUESTION 2. And they deleted most of my stuff. How would I go about getting my voice memos back if they were deleted off my iPhone that was stolen and they were the last thing I had of my mom before she died?

Unless they were able to access your old iPhone, they wouldn't be able to delete anything off it it ... and, in order for them to access it, one or more of the following would need to be true:

  • The phone was jailbroken.
  • They had access to your Apple ID credentials.
  • They knew your phone's passcode.
  • They have your exact fingerprints (for Touch ID), or look exactly like you (for FaceID).

As far as voice "memos," I'm assuming that you are referring to voicemails. If so, it may be possible to retrieve them by contacting your cellular provider.
