My user name on MacBook Air disappeared

When I log in this morning, my MacBook Air I purchased no longer have a user name, what went wrong?

I solved my problem, thanks for your help. I just need to select System settings, select Lock Screen then select list of users. Thanks Ventura 13.5, I have to learn new things.

cant remember username to log in I somehow made it so the usernames don’t just show up on log in screen on my mini Mac. I know my password but can’t figure out user name. I’ve tried all the combos of my name I can think of—-nothing works. I DONT need to reset password as I remember it. Just need to figure out username (or reset it). Username disappears after attempted login on Mac OS Monterey Hello, after start and entering Name in userscreen with password, computer restarsts again with other userscreen and password Following problem accured after reseting "factory settings" of MacBook 15,4 inch Model nr. A 1398. I did the resetting with holding command & R when starting, now i have the Monterey sys. It all seemed fine, but after start / restart once i entered my username and password in userscreen, the macbook resarts again into new user screen named "others" and than asking for a name and password which is not familiar or unknown to me, i cant enter the computer anymore. see screenshots. Make my MacBook Air user account admin again I tried to change the admin username on my Mac, but it accidentally changed the account to Standard, how can I get the admin account back? It’s refusing to take the old and the new user name [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Shut down and power up again.

What does the screen show when you power up? Not what's not there, what's actually displayed.
