2017 MacBook Pro stuck on login screen

So I am unhappy with Apple, so, when I had to do a lot of research, just to figure out how to update my user name, (after my husband gave me his old computer), I decided that I was going to be passive aggressive, and while I was in the advanced settings of the admin user, I saw a user number, and instead of 502, I erased it and put in the corresponding numbers that spelled out F**k You, because I am angry with Apple. now, after restarting it, (because I updated my information), it’s stuck 2/3 of the way loading, and even after restarting it multiple times, will not get past this point, and I need to know if I just need to throw this thing in the trash, or if there’s a shortcut to just start all over??

Your best and easiest option would be to perform a clean install of macOS by erasing the whole physical SSD followed by installing macOS. Of course this will destroy all data on the SSD. This will give you a factory clean OS which you can setup like it was a brand new computer.

FYI, here is what your husband should have done before giving you the computer so that his AppleID and other accounts are disassociated from this computer:

Any other option to attempt to fix your mistakes are more complicated which probably won't be of much use to you under the circumstances. Since you modified the UserID I don't know how it would affect those other options and it would be very difficult to resolve through these forums. I'm not even sure deleting that broken user account would even be a good idea even if we created a new user account.

yes, I am aware that it seems the computer is punishing me, but it’s just because I replaced the numbers, and it messed everything up. I don’t care enough about computers to understand what that number meant, and wanted to change it to be mean to a greedy corporation that I’m stuck with because of my hubby’s need for Apple products to do his job.
