Can iPhone 6s update to iOS 16?

My Iphone 6S is still stuck in IOS15.7.8 so I was wondering how I can upgrade it to IOS16

Then you might learn that the answer to the original question is "No". You can upgrade an iPhone 6s to the latest version of iOS 15 – but no further.

Now that you know that the iPhone 6s cannot run iOS 16, you can either live with that, or get a newer phone.

Buy a newer, more modern iPhone if you want iOS 16. Your phone is too old and too underpowered to run anything higher than iOS 15.7.8.

Nope. It can't. It won't. It NEVER will. The reason you're now on 15.8, is you got a security update. Not an iOS update. iOS 16 will NEVER be coming to iPhone 7 or older devices.

It seems pretty safe to say that Apple will never release iOS 16 for the iPhone 6s. If you need or want to run a version of iOS higher than iOS 15.*, you will need to get a newer iPhone.
