my right ear bud makes sound for a minute or so and then it pops and goes silent
I tried resetting it and with the button but it still happened

The resource attached to your post, Reset your Beats earphones, has the proper steps to reset your beats to rule out a software issue. At the bottom, you will notice the link, Update your Beats wireless headphones or earphones. Use this to make sure your Beats are updated.
If you have followed those steps and you still have the issue, it is more than likely a hardware issue that will require inspection and possible service.
