i just want to rename an icon on my iphone (OS16) i do NOT want to change the icon image.

The only youtube instructions are about downloading a different image for an app and then naming it. This is NOT helpful.

Hold-touching the icon does not offer option to rename.

There is no option to rename on the settings’ app list either that i could find.

If it matters, the icon i want to rename is for a local hospital patient portal. The current name is the app company name which means nothing to me.

I want to rename to the hospital name.
