Refresh Icon Immensely Irritating Me

I don’t have fingers like pork sausages so why does this happen to me every bleepin’ time?

On any Web page at all, I want to refresh so I hit the circle with an arrow in the address bar, >nine times out of 10 instead of refreshing I get the page address highlighted, a microphone icon and a drop-down of my favourite pages.

Surely this must be something I’m doing wrong, will someone please tell me how to stop it?
