Trying to send my mother money on Apple Pay and it keeps saying Apple Pay unavailable

Try doing a forced restart of your iPhone and then once it restarts, wait a few minutes and try again. Forced restart is not just turning your iPhone off and on again. Please follow the instructions in the link below for your iPhone model etc.
