For how long did you have your Apple Watch Series 3, Because the watch launched in 2017, it's a relatively older model, and what is the battery health?
You can check this via settings > battery > battery capacity
You can also check out repair options.
An Apple Watch repair cost around $79 dollar,
but its free with Apple Care+ when its under 80% battery health.
