Failed mophie powerstation pro XL

I have purchased a mophie powerstation pro XL and failed after just 9 months not even used it that much. There is a 2-year warranty on the product but there is no way to get a hold of the manufacturer to get the warranty in place. I have tried to register the product which going into a cycle that the serial number is incorrect or saying the website is under maintenance for weeks. I tried to contact them multiple times and ended up waiting for hour on the phone and no answer, then contacting them again through Instagram which there was a reply saying contact the customer service number which I did before. So I’m not sure if anyone else experiencing this, please let me know if there’s any other way to. Although Apple clearly says the warranty is covered by the manufacturer and it’s not Apple responsibility. I wasn’t expecting this, as I came across this product inside the Apple Store. not going to buy any mophie products or anything advertised though Apple Store for third party products till get a replacement.

Hello there!

I'm sorry to hear this, but there are a few things you can do.

1. Document everything, make sure you make screenshots and / or screen recordings of every attempt of contact with Mophie. Having a clear record of your efforts will be helpful if you need to take other steps in the process.

2. Make sure you contact through different channels, social media, mail, phone, chat, ect.

3. You can also try to contact the retailer, in this case Apple. Maybe they have better contact with Mophie than te costumer.

You can also take drastic matters:

File a complaint with relevant authorities: If all else fails, and you believe you are still entitled to the warranty, you can file a complaint at your local consumer protection agencies (depends where you live). These organizations can mediate disputes between consumers and businesses.

To do this you need of course the screenshots, so don't forget to take them!

I hope this will help,

and good luck with this matter!
