Hardware failure

my device(3 years old) suddenly stopped & got heated up abruptly..took more than 2 hours to cool down & didn't responded further. Upon diagnosis by authorised service centre, 'hardware fault in the power section of the Main Logic Board' been informed & asked to pay almost 85% of purchase price to get the same device, which will be having 90 days warranty.

How can someone trust company like Apple

Hi,

Sorry to hear about your device requiring service.

It sounds like you will have to pay OOW pricing to have the product serviced or replaced.

Below are some resources that compare service pricing for OOW products, and products that are covered by AppleCare+.

AppleCare+ can be very beneficial for situations such as this, and I would highly recommend purchasing it on all future eligible products moving forward.

Sharing in the hopes that these benefits can be recognized, to avoid an issue like this in the future for your devices.

Hope this helps. Best of luck!
