Is it safe to leave an iPhone 14 on Magsafe all night and most of the day?

I use Standby mode at night; and like to keep my iphone 14 in standby mode by my mac on the magsafe charger during most of the day. Is this harmful to the battery? Will it cause battery swelling at some point in time. Is this overcharging the phone; or does software prevent that? I've had my iPhone X have battery swell twice before getting replacement batteries.

Thanks

Not really. You can't overcharge it. Mine is on a MagSafe charger all night, and much of the work day it's on a Qi charger on my desk streaming music to a bluetooth speaker. No ill effects.

My battery health is down to about 88%, but it's also close to 3 years old now. I have an iPhone 12. I suppose I'll probably end up getting a new phone before it reaches the 80% replacement threshold. At that point, I may just get the battery replaced by Apple with a new one and pass the phone down to my father-in-law as he's also on my plan and currently using my old Xr.
