Assistive Touch disable when iPhone 14 Pro Max is locked ?

This is very important to disable the assistive touch on lockscreen. Hence this has options to restart the phone . I feel this is the only option must be greyed out when phone is locked. Because if a phone is lost theiefs can restart the phone without unlocking the phone.

How to disable access to assistive touch when iPhone is locked?

there are other questions on the forum about this and has been mentioned it is an alternate way to Interact phone. However on lock screen we do not need to interact such kind of restart options. This is violation of privacy .

Any other options in assistive touch is ok if someone access them. They are not important features.

kindly suggest me the solution how to disable it on lockscreen.

In a comment of another post, it has been said that face id and passcode option has the details to control but assistive touch is not listed to control it for turn on or off. This js very bad option to see it on lock screen as it is violating the privacy.

If we think of not using assitive touch, there is no where option to restart the phone until we use assistive touch. Hence I cant customize the assistive touch to remove the restart or device options.

If you feel an unauthorized person/app is remotely using, controlling or monitoring your device, then that is possible only if you have done one or more of the following Don'ts...

  1. Don't hand over an iPhone to kids or to a stranger without Enabling Guided Access
  2. Don't share Apple IDs
  3. Don't Jailbreak
  4. Don't share sensitive information pertaining to your device
  5. Don't give in to Phishing
  6. Don't plug in your device in Airports and Public places through third-party cables and trust the device. Beware of Juice Jacking. (Especially in India)
  7. Don't leave your iPhone unlocked and unattended in public places like offices, schools, malls, etc.

If one of the above is true then quickly change the Apple ID Password and Return iPhone settings to their defaults.

Beware of Phishing!

Be careful and be smart to --> Recognize and avoid phishing messages, phoney support calls ...

Note: Apple will never send you any info on Lost/Found iPhones. It (Phishing) may appear as the image given below.

Switched Off? Still traceable

Even if the iPhone is switched off it is findable, see the pic below.

iPhones are designed with strong security measures to protect the privacy and data of their owners. One of the key features that ensure this is the requirement of an Apple ID and password or a passcode to access the device's contents. This means that without the owner's authorization, it is nearly impossible for anyone else to open an iPhone and gain access to its data.

  • The Apple ID and password serve as a unique identifier for each user and are used to link the device to the owner's iCloud account.
  • In the event that the owner has chosen to set up a passcode, an additional layer of protection is added.
  • Additionally, enabling two-factor authentication for the Apple ID further enhances the security of the device by requiring a secondary verification step, typically through a trusted device or phone number, to access the account.

With these security measures in place, iPhones offer a high level of protection against unauthorized access. Even if someone physically possesses the device, they will find it extremely challenging to access its contents without the owner's Apple ID and password or the passcode. This helps safeguard sensitive information, personal data, and ensures the privacy of the iPhone's owner.

It is worth noting that while these security measures provide strong protection against unauthorized access, it is essential for iPhone owners to choose strong and unique passcodes or passwords. This minimizes the risk of brute-force attacks or password-guessing attempts.
