I turn on Do Not Disturb, but phone calls still get through

I turned all vibrations off, because my phone was vibrating in do not disturb mode. Now it rings in do not disturb mode. I don't have anyone allowed to get through

I need help

You keep posting this but I have done everything you mentioned in particular the info about the repeat phone call toggle and I'm still getting spam calls while in focus.

Because you haven’t set it up before using it. See my post in this thread from January 3.

To keep calls from coming through DND you have to go to focus, then click " people " and at the very bottom it will say " allow repeated calls " toggle it off that's why they are able to call still because it gives them the option to where if the same person calls back again it won't silence it anymore. And also you can set it to " allowed people only " but don't put anyone's name in it if you don't want any calls still coming through.

If you have your phone on Do Not Disturb, people who are on your favorites or on your allow list will get through.

So you have to unfavorite them.

Or, for example, in case of your loved ones, add both their texts and phone to your favorites so they can reach you in case of emergency

I have the same problem with my phone there is no people option if fact it’s no toward how to let calls come through. I keep getting calling on my phone I’ve tried everything!! I’m so mad I want to use my phone and not be disturbed. The only way now is to turn it completely off. Which is mind blowing due to this is apple and should be so dang on hard!! Ugh

• Tap on any Focus settings that you will never use and remove them (you can add them back later if you change your mind, and even create new, custom ones)
• Tap Do Not Disturb
• Tap People
• Tap Allow Notifications From
• If anyone is listed who should not call you when DND is on delete them; if you don’t want any calls from anyone, any time, delete all people
• Tap the dropdown next to Allow Calls From and choose Allowed People Only
• Optionally, tap on Apps, then Allow Notifications From and don’t add any apps.

All of the above is a one-time setup. After that, turn DND on or off with the Control Center Focus button. You can optionally set one or more schedules by going to:

Settings/Focus/Do Not Disturb/Set a Schedule.

Then you need to go to Settings>Focus and check your selections. Go to Do Not Disturb (or whichever focus you're using), tap on People>Phone Calls>Allow Calls From. If you have any people selected for that focus, restrict it to them. Also, turn off "Allow Repeated Calls."

Or you just haven't yet learned how to set up Focus correctly. It does have more of a learning curve than the old DND but it is more powerful and flexible.

It sounds as if you may have missed turning off the "Allow Repeated Calls" switch. Go to your focus. Tap "People." Look toward the bottom of the page for "Allow Repeated Calls" and make sure it's set to "Off". That trips up a lot of people.
