Can you block someone from messaging you

You can block anyone you want just click their name in Messages scroll down and click Block this Contact. It basically acts like Do Not Disturb but more advanced you do not get notifications from them. But they can still send you texts but it won’t tell you. Also if they try to call you it won’t show up on your screen or notify you. You can also unblock them anytime if needed. You can also manage your Block List in settings.

Troubleshooting Scam Calls:

Three Thoughts:

A. Use Malwarebytes Mobile Security:

The free version blocks popups. The paid version blocks out known scammers. Read the following thread to see how to use this software: Blocked numbers - Apple Community

B. Modify your Credentials:

If you suspect activity issues, and interacted with it an any form, then modify the you credentials:

• Modify: your login credentials (Using Both a New eMail and a New Password for each and all sites)
• Associate: a different method of payment to your account
• Enable: Two-Factor Authentication for Apple ID and for all other accounts that have such an applicable option
