Everytime I connect my charger in the MacBook Pro the light don't show up

Hello there,

I have an old macbook pro 2015 I have few issues with my mac. 2019 I had to change my screen ( some manufacturing problem so I got it for free) and now I'm having problem with my 'power' ( I cant even tell you what kind of problem is because its sounds 'I'm crazy and stupid' everytime I connect my charger in the computer the light don't shows up so I have to 'force' my MacBook to shut down. Few minutes later its working. I changed my charger twice and this problem keep going. Please if anyone know something and would like to help me I appreciate.

The "charger" is actually built-into your Mac. What you connect to it is a power adapter that supplies this charger with current for the charging process. If you have already tried using a number of adapters, and you are still not able to charge your laptop, one or more, of the following could be the issue:

  • The MagSafe charging port is defective.
  • The charging circuitry, on the laptop's logic board, is faulty.
  • The laptop's battery is depleted.

Are you able to power up the laptop at all, with the power adapter connected to it? If so, you could run the Apple Diagnostics to see if it can uncover any hardware issues.
