Deleting files from iCloud drive

I'm trying to delete files and folders from my iCloud drive and get this message:

The operation can’t be completed because you don’t have permission to access some of the items.

I am the only user on this mac and have no administrator, etc. How do I eliminate these permission errors to delete my files/folders?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 13.4

Hi Staynavytom,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities.

We understand that you're unable to delete a file or folder from iCloud on your Mac. If you're deleting multiple files at a time, try removing a smaller quantity at a time to determine which file or folder has the issue.

Once you have identified the problematic folder or file, right-click on it and choose Get Info to view permissions. You can make changes if necessary to read & write.
