Mac Messages app showing phone numbers not names

Hi,

I dont' seem to have the option to "Add Account" when I open my Contact App on my MacBook Air?! what am I doing wrong?

Thanks so much for your valuable advice! did the trick on my Mac...simply editing the contact and. adding the country prefix did the trick for me....what a ridiculous glitch

I believe Apple helps us out by dumping all contacts when you hit a storage limit on iCloud... which you have to then turn back on. Not sure, but it appears to have happened twice now.

This absolutely resolved my issue and it makes total sense since I sync my contacts to Google instead of iCloud. Thanks for the solution. 🙂
