How can I copy a link and then paste it as plain text?

Mac Studio, macOS 13.5

Some apps will look for URLs and give them an active link, even when pasted without any formatting.

If you want to avoid that, then try without the http or https.

Some apps are already triggered by foo.com or foo.net (e.g. Notes). Not sure how to avoid active links there, if wanted.

Paste it where and into what type file


I can Copy a URL Link into Notes application and remove the Url link making it Plain Text


To bring up the Sub Menu, Right click the text containing the URL and Remove Link


Same can be done in most applications
