Attached file you may see the extension link ending with dmg which could not be opened although clicked multiple times, tried to be opened with disk image mounter. What am I supposed to do to fix this problem?

.dmg files contain checksums to protect the contents. If the file has been modified or damaged after it was created, you should get an error message.
go back to the source and download a fresh copy.

ChemDraw is commercial software. You should be downloading DIRECT from the software-maker's site, NOT a version stored on your or anyone else's google drive. once installed, Apps are to be placed in the /Applications folder to speed them up and protect them.
If you are a student, some pages online suggest your old version typically expires in September and a new license will be issued by your Institution. Contact your Institution's help center for assistance.
If you already have this version on your computer, the app does not expire, only the license to run it.
It is the file downloaded via the google drive link. I tried to convert it into Zip and some others, but apparently, it could not be converted into any.
