Can't see Shared photo album on Mac

I created a shared photo album on my Phone using the phone Photos app. I cannot see this shared album on my Mac using the photos App. Why is this?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 13.4

When I don't see a shared album on on eon my other devices, I send an invitation to my own iCloud AppleID. Then it will usually appear instantly on my other devices as well.

Is your Mac Photos app signed into the same Apple ID as your iPhone? Are Shared Albums enabled in Photos > Settings > iCloud?

Yes, both the phone and mac have the same Apple ID. Also, iCloud on both devices has shared Albums enabled.
