I only had a few hundred emails then one part shows 266,000 . Should be around 300, cleared junk,trash and inbox just get rid of it down 78,000 no emails anywhere

I ended up deleting everything restarted cleaned everything not exactly what I wanted to do as I didn’t read all my email. Weird things happening even in messenger people showing I never added . Emails are having things come through even with my protection. Criminals showed pay for this getting to expensive for us little guys

You should be able to mark unwanted email as junk using the steps below:
• On your iPhone or iPad, swipe left on the message, tap More, then tap Move to Junk.
• On your Mac, select the message and click the Junk button in the Mail toolbar. Or you can drag the message to the Junk folder in the sidebar.
• On iCloud.com, select the message, then click the Flag button and choose Move to Junk. Or you can drag the message to the Junk folder in the sidebar.

Additionally, are you seeing those unexpected contacts in the built-in Messages app, or is this happening with a third party app such as Facebook Messenger?
