Does FaceTime icon show on iMessage in corner if I’m blocked

im not sure if when you go on a chat on imessage, and the FaceTime icon is no longer there in the top corner and it is either a now a phone or a blank space when it used to be the FaceTime icon, does this mean I have been blocked by the person and if it is because I’m blocked will it never appear again
