iPhone 14 pro battery health reduced to 92% in less than a year

I got my iPhone in Oct 2022, the battery was quite good at the start but slowly I can see the maximum capacity being reduced as the days passed. The phone is continuously updated to the latest software and I even try to take maximum care of the phone.

As of today, the maximum capacity is just 92%. I did not expect this from Apple.

When I am paying ₹1.3 lakhs for a phone, I expect it to stay new for at least a year!!

What am I supposed to do now?!

I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max 256GB and the battery health on the

30th Sept 2023 was 96%.

I've been watching it drop like a stone.

19th October 2023 94%

18th November 2023 92%

I have optimized battery charging set on, and I charge from 20% to 90%

My phone does not get hot or cold so I'm wondering why I am losing 2% per month.

In contrast, my iPhone 11 Pro Max 256GB is now only at 90% battery health.

What is going on, are these batteries defective, and is the a replacement scheme by Apple, please?

My iPhone 14 Pro Max was bought in November of 2022 and the battery health now is currently at 85% this phone has been horrible battery wise!

You’re lucky then. Mine is sitting at 87%, just barely over a year. I know this is an older post, but I had to throw my hat in the ring as well.

You are very lucky. Your phone is about 12 months old. The Battery Health / Maximum Capacity should be at about 90% by now.
