Can't add tickets to my wallet with TicketMaster app

Try a forced restart and try adding ticket again. If that doesn’t work please talk to Ticketmaster support. This issue has been reported recently and from posts and replies in the community, it usually is a Ticketmaster issue.

I just wanted to chime in for those who find their way to this forum and as someone who had these same issues, the most recent update (17.2 -21C62), seems to have fixed the bug. I went through countless resets and every step imaginable to no avail but since the update this AM, my tickets are now scannable in my Apple wallet. Hope this helps.

I’m not a software engineer either. But one of the frequent fixes for Ticketmaster users is to turn the iPhone horizontal. This is not an Apple issue. I can’t think of another app that the solution is to rotate the screen. Worse still, it’s gone on for over a year.

Airlines offer the same feature of adding tickets to Wallet. Do you realize no airline customers post here about not be able to add tickets or needing to rotating the screen? In my opinion, this issue is solely Ticketmaster’s lack of adequate software development and support.

Yes this happened to me too and turned phone sideways and finally was able to see button to Add to Apple wallet. I also tried to reduce font size back to 100%(was at 125%) and that also worked. Hope this helps!

I’ve figured my problem for this issue a punch of troubleshooting steps. I’m putting it here in case anyone needed it.

My problem is that the Apple Wallet app is not turn on to use in cellular mode. After I turned it on, I was able to add it to wallet.

Here’s the troubleshooting list I try:

- Latest version of the ticket app

- Latest version of IOS

- VPN or any types of proxy is not turn on

- Ticket previously has not been added to a different Apple Wallet

- Wallet app is not turned on in Cellular (Setting > Cellular > Apple Wallet app turn on)

if you haven’t already, try using Chrome to login to Ticketmaster. I had this issue when I used Safari, but the Add to Wallet appeared in Chrome. You’ll still need to turn your phone sideways when you get to the ticket page.

You were spot on about turning the phone sideways to get the "add to wallet" icon. I was the phone for two hours with ticketmaster and couldn't get this resolved.

I had the same issue but I have an iPhone 7 that can't be updated beyond 15.8.2 so it's not an issue with newer phones. I tried everything but then tried turning phone horizontally and it worked! You have to scroll down a bit to find button but it does work. Definitely a TicketMaster issue.

I tried all the above with no luck. I then clicked on “Request Mobile Site” under the rounded circle with two lines icon (new on iOS 18) and accessed the tickets. I turned the phone sideways to see Apple Wallet button. Yay!

Just a heads up if you're on your iPhone trying to make this work:

• use the mobile website (i gave up on the app) and make sure you're using the Safari browser... not Chrome or any other browser.
• I spent way too much time trying to figure this out using the Chrome browser - only Safari worked for me.

I was having the same issue. It finally worked once I was on Wi-Fi.

I had the same issue, solved it by adding my tickets directly for Ticketmaster's website instead of through the app.

Same issue on iPhone SE. Unable to transfer tickets from Ticketmaster or Raiders app (Allegiant stadium) to my apple wallet. We tried several troubleshooting steps, All apps and iOS all up to date (Ticketmaster v248 and iOS 17.1.2) to no avail. Transferring the tickets to a friend with Facial recognition resolved the issue and they were able to add the tickets to the Wallet application. It would appears that the failure is related to devices using Touch ID. Any additional insights for other events we would like to add to Apple Wallet using the iPhone SE?
