Can't add tickets to my wallet with TicketMaster app

Phone is updated to 16.6 I have purchased tickets with my ticketmaster app but it will not let me add my tickets to my wallet. Even tried logging in thru safai and it still doesn't work. The message I get every single time I try to add to my wallet..... "Unable to Add Pass. Your pass could not be added to Wallet at this time. Try again later." Anyone else having this issue?

Try a forced restart and try adding ticket again. If that doesn’t work please talk to Ticketmaster support. This issue has been reported recently and from posts and replies in the community, it usually is a Ticketmaster issue.

So that is a website design issue, but I believe that most are not struggling with "adding the ticket" to their wallet, but rather when it is in their wallet, it does not present an NFC reader option and will show as "activating" for a period of time before showing "pass disabled," rendering the Apple Wallet feature useless.


This was not always the case and worked again for a brief moment with an update back in December before becoming useless again.


So I apologize if you are focusing on adding the ticket in the first place but the Apple issue comes from once they're added and shortly after are disabled and unable to be read/scanned from the Apple Wallet.

seemingly many of us CAN get tickets to “add to Apple wallet” via the appropriate button. However, the issue with the pass/ticket continuously

“Activating- your pass is being activated”,

and NEVER actually activating is unresolved.

This issue specifically occurs with Ticketmaster events. (Although mlb.com has another issue I will avoid here for confusion sake)

Several hours spent with both Apple and Ticketmaster tech support have each pointing finger at one another.

All apps updated. Deleted and re-installed. iOS 17.7 installed (previous iOS did not work as of 6/2024, yet whatever iOS I had in 2023 did function properly )

Anyone with a resolve on this matter?

**again this is NOT an absence of “add to Apple wallet” button issue.

Ticketmaster support is wrong. Of course the issues aren’t listed, because they have no clue. No other ticket issuer has issues like Ticketmaster does. Do you see any posts about tickets from Delta, American, Southwest etc? No, because their apps work and have higher security restrictions than Ticketmaster.


They update their app at least once a month trying to fix bugs and it’s not enough. They need better software developers and support team members that work with their customers. Passing the buck saying buy an Android is not an example of supporting their app.😀

Issue is not about getting it into Apple Wallet but once the tickets are IN Apple Wallet, it cannot be activated. Also, not a Ticketmaster App issue was I could transfer the ticket from the APP or the website, and the result is the same. I also use the tickets directly from my Ticketmaster App, but what do I do with events/concerts in remote locations with weak cell connections? I called Ticketmaster customer support, and ultimately after going through their "list of causes", he suggested that I purchase a Google phone just for concert tickets.
