Settings in Finder Macbook Pro Monterey 12.6.7

I'm having troubles with Finder. (Specifically, it isn't recognizing my flash drive. even though I used it a couple months ago.) To find a fix, I've consulted numerous sites online, every one of which directed me to open settings (aka preferences), but there is no such thing in Finder that I can find. And ideas?

Verify Finder>Settings>Sidebar>Locations that your iOS Device and external drives is select to show...

In the FInder sidebar

Move your mouse to the right side & Spin the carrot if necessary to reveal the list:

Get to know the Finder on your Mac

Get file, folder, and disk information on Mac
