iOS 16.6 Mail app does not allow IMAP behavior change of Junk to Spam

The problem: The iOS Mail application creates an arbitrary folder called "Junk". My ISP (and many others) use a folder called "spam". There is no way to change this behavior. This is a problem because:

1) If the iOS mail application can't move or map messages to "spam", my ISP's "Spam Assassin" program does not see or process any email as spam. No spam rules will be applied, and all I'm doing is moving a message to a useless "Junk" folder.

2) Spam Assassin (arguably the most used spam software) cannot be reconfigured on the ISP side to change the name of "spam" to "Junk". I asked my ISP, and that change will be overwritten upon an update and is not allowed. All ISP's I've spoken to say the same.

Effect: Spam filtering on iOS does not work using most ISP's IMAP servers.

Possible Apple Solution? iOS should have an option under "MAILBOX BEHAVIORS" called "Junk Mailbox" that could be configured just like Drafts, Sent, Deleted and Archive can rather than creating its own inaccessible "Junk" folder. See attached image.

Thank you the2introverts. To be clear, I am still wanting a possible workaround or fix if there is one though; my suggestion for a fix doesn't cancel out the possibility that there's a solution.
