my old downloaded music

I had downloaded many CD's on my previous Mac and unable to figure out how to add them to my present Mac book pro.I have an external hard drive which the adapter does not fit.Is there any way to get my music back?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 13.4

is that the end on your external drive? if yes, you can use the adapter I linked to in my original reply.

I'm looking again, and it looks like the cable connected to the external drive is removable.



if it is, can you unplug the cable from the drive and look at the port on the external drive itself. if I am correct, it should be the same as the port on your Mac. (which is USB-C) if the Mac and the external drive actually are the same, you can get an USB-C to USB-C cable with no need for an adapter.
