G4 Mac Os X install
wondering if using a leopard install disk on G4 with no OS will allow me to upgrade to mountain lion or mavericks if that's possible?
Question marked as
You can use the DVD you have if the CPU is at least 867MHz and it isn't intended for a different Mac model, but won't be able to put anything higher than 10.5.8 on it. A slower G4 can run 10.4.11.
