iPhone no longer suggesting email to autofill

What was the solution. It’s March 2024 and Outlook for iPhone still won’t auto fill email addresses?

The question wasn’t about auto-fill on SAFARI!!! It’s about the Mail app not providing suggestions on completing email addresses when you start to type them.

What’s the fix? I am having the same issue on my iPhone 13 mini.

I have this issue and I wonder if you can help. What about if your browser is Chrome not safari?

Set up AutoFill

You can save your personal information or credit card number on your iPhone to speed up filling in online forms and making purchases. Go to Settings > Safari > AutoFill. Do any of the following: Set up contact info: Turn on Use Contact Info, tap My Info, then choose your contact card.

• Open Contacts App > Swipe Down > Tap on My Card > Tap Edit and change whatever you would like to edit]
• Settings > Safari > Auto Fille > My Card > Tap Edit and change whatever you would like to edit]

No worries - same thing with me, read a lot of replies and tried them all, none worked

hope the update install works for you too! Was very annoying that the auto fill email wasn’t working, I send myself 20 emails a day for reminders and was a pain having to type it in every time! Good luck

Same here, on my other family members its working fine all on 17.4.1 but no more on my own phone ;)

it previously fetched emailadress ideas to pick during filling eg on apps aswell - autofill safari is enabled with my contact card. im happy that im not alone with this issue ;)

While I know this thread is a little stale, I stumbled across it because I had the same issue. I figured out a workaround where, in my contact card, I changed the designation of my email address from "home" to "other". Now it shows up as an autofill option.

iPhone uses your Apple ID to create your contact card, called My Card, but you may want to add or edit details including your address, phone number, birthday, ...

Same thing randomly happened to me - tried everything but ended up installing new update of iOS 16.6 and it fixed the issue for me. Maybe try that?
