Why is there a specific letter next to my name on my iPhone 11?

Where on iPhone 11 are you seeing this exactly?
If its for your Apple ID, it happens when you have not assigned a picture to your profile. In which case it will use your initial for it instead of a photo. You can add a photo to your Apple ID in Settings ➜ Apple ID. Tap on the letter to change it and add a photo.
