Apple Intelligence is now available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac!
Scheduling a text with iOS is not easy using the Shortcuts app, and the „Scheduled” app makes you pay for it. Is there any way to schedule a text without paying for it? And one that is easy to use? (And if not, is there any way you can send feedback to apple about potentially adding scheduled messaging to iMessage?)

Did you send feedback on this? I did from another thread that was also very old that shows just how long people have been asking for this and Apple has neglected it. With some hope RCS coming later this year it might be added to iMessage. I love this feature in Google Messages and it makes perfect sense for a smartphone to have it, and is baffling why a "premium" device like an iphone does not have it.

I just switched to iPhone and I’m surprised it doesn’t allow me to schedule text messages. Now I want to switch back. I need that feature.
You can do it with Siri (see below).
You can send a scheduled text message in iOS 16 using Siri.
For example: "At 11am send Tim a text that says ..."
This is not widely known.

Never mind, I misread what it was doing. It doesn't work. I can't delete my error post unfortunately.
There is no built in way to schedule texts, but if you want to suggest the option, apple.com/feedback is the best place to do it.
