If you don’t remember the code or don’t know what it is and you put it in wrong so many times it will lock you out if it locks you out you will have to put it in recovery mode. If you forgot your iPhone passcode - Apple Support but the good news is if the data is backed up to iCloud or is backed up on a computer you can restore the data and if you do restore it make sure you know the Apple ID and password to log in .
