Im using a different keyboard, not the Mac's built in keyboard im using a keyboard i bought and when I tried copying and pasting, ( Command + C & V ) it comes out as ç or √. I didnt have a problem before and it used to work and now this issue comes up.

What keyboard exactly do you have? Command is behaving as Option/Alt. Does Option/alt + C do Copy?
The keyboard might have settings that do that kind of switch. MacOS also has them
