My Car Play's touch screen no longer works.

I have a 2019 Subaru Legacy. This year my Apple Car Play's touch screen no longer responds to touch. I can see a call come in, but I can't answer the call by touching the screen. I can't select a destination on the map by touching the screen either. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Apple CarPlay UX issue: 'Done' button changes to 'Call' unintentionally This is a UX annoyance as it has caused several unintentional phone calls. When I'm driving, after CarPlay reads out a text message, the choices after reading the message out loud come up on the CarPlay screen. I believe the button choices are: Reply, Replay or Done. On more than a few occasions, if I'm too slow to hit the Done button to dismiss the choices (and conclude the back and forth with the other person), the "Done" button changes to a "Call" button which is the exact opposite of what I want to do. Sometimes, it changes to "Call" just as I'm moving my finger toward the screen to hit the "Done" button. It then takes a second or two to start making the call before I can hit the "End" button and the call goes through to the other person. This just happened with my MiL and of course she called me back a little while later while I was on a work call and I had to send her to voicemail and later explain that it was not an intentional call. Good times. Annoying AF. Please change this, Apple. Offer four choices: Reply, Replay, Done or Call, but don't change the "Done" button" to the exact opposite choice from dismissing to calling the other person, that's just dumb and bad UX. CarPlay cracking when on a call and car is in motion Hello, I have been having problems with CarPlay on my Nissan Rogue where when you are on a call via CarPlay (so handsfree) when the car is in motion, the voice on the other end crackles. If you stop at a light or pull over, the crackling stops. This is very annoying. Any idea of how to fix this? Everything on my phone (iPhone 12)is up to date and I am using an Apple connector cord.

They said the software needs updating. It costs $200. I want to know if that’s the only option. Thanks

My dealer updated my software for free and it didn’t help
