Can’t get rid of calendar invite
I keep getting an invite repeatedly from possibly a spam account or hacked account. I have declined all events but it keeps coming back and says it’s from almost a year ago. How do I get rid of it

It’s not a spam calendar, it’s an invite coming through to my personal calendar that’s connected to my yahoo mail. Every time I decline the event and all future events it goes away for a moment then comes right back.

Hey Eareyet8id,
Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
Here's an article that may help: Delete spam calendars and events on iPhone. It include steps on removing spam calendars and events on an iPhone.
If the calendar invites are linked to your iCloud Calendar, sign in here iCloud. Afterwards, go to the Calendar app, double-click the event, and then select Report Junk under the sender's name.
Take care.
Hey Eareyet8id,
Thanks for clarifying that for us. Does this happen with a specific invite from a specific contact that invited you to the event? We also recommend that you double check if your iOS is updated to the latest version:
Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
Update your iPhone or iPad wirelessly
1. Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.
2. Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
3. Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.
4. If you see more than one software update option available, choose the one that you want to install.
5. Tap Install Now. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now. If you don't know your passcode, learn what to do.
Let us know how it goes!
Best regards.
Hello Eareyet8id,
In this case, you'll want to contact the email provider in order to determine your next steps. You can use this link to contact Yahoo: Help for your Yahoo Account
They would need to take it from here.
Take care.
I’m definitely updated to the latest iOS. It’s not a contact of mine. It is an unrecognizable person as far as I can tell.
I had the same problem with my iCal, I clicked on the calendar button at the bottom of the calendar app and unchecked the calendar button under Outlook and that took care of the issue
