Does family setup work in Australia with truphone? I keep getting a message that my telstra account on this iphone cannot be used to a mobile data plan to the watch.

Seems for the most up-to-date info. you may need to contact truphone / telstra directly.


Apple Support has an article online that lists carriers for Watch:

Apple Watch - Carriers - Apple

Just to confirm, for family setup via truphone it needs to be Apple Watch (GPS + Cellular) Series 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, Ultra.


I have an apple SE and based on your information, this is not support by Telstra. Perhaps this is the issue I am experiencing when it says "The telstra account on this iphone cannot be used to add a mobile data plan to the apple watch".
