iPhone 4 battery exploded 🤕

If it was an iPhone 4, iPhone 4 was released in 2010, so almost 13 years ago. Batteries degrade over time and if this was the original battery in the iPhone, it should have been replaced a long long time ago.

You should contact Apple directly, but I'm not sure what they can or will do for you as a 13 year old device is long past its time.

Upgrade to a New iPhone:

Your iPhone is extremely obsolete. So, take this as a good reason to upgrade to a much more recent iPhone model --particularly one that is compatible with the most recent iOS: iOS 16

That’s scary, hope you are doing better. If it’s an iPhone 4 the battery must have been replaced at least once. Who did you have replace the battery and how long ago?
