Macbook Pro running Ventura 13.5.1 not able to receive through Airdrop

I have tried everything suggested to Airdrop between iphone 11 pro running ios 16.6 and my macbook M1 Pro running Ventura 13.5.1.

I have toggled Wi-fi and Bluetooth off and on. Both devices are set to receive from everyone. Firewall is off and I've restarted both devices. They are also literally 10 inches away from each other. I was able to send a file to my phone from the laptop but when I try to send something from my iphone to my laptop, it keeps saying "waiting". The other device shows up on both Airdrop screens. Please help!

Have you tried shutting down and restarting the Mac since your update to 13.5.1

Restart both devices if necessary to test.

I can not reproduce your issue. macOS 13.5.1
